Mosquito Lagoon Fishing Report March 2016

3/10/2016

Spring is here and the fishing has been great since getting some southerly winds rising the water into the Mosquito Lagoon! Redfish, Speckled Trout, and a few black drum have been eating a variety of baits! In my 20 years of fishing the Mosquito Lagoon I have never seen so many shrimp leaping out of the water while poling the flats. Redfish are tailing in a foot of water or less gorging on shrimp and are tailing aggressively during the first 3 to 4 hours of the morning! My charter today caught 14 redfish and 5 trout before 10:30! I only have 3 days open in the next 4 weeks, so book early!!! Book your trip today! (407)733-3223!
